Extra Curricular : Music

musical2.jpg Music is an integral part of life at James Ruse through both the classroom curriculum as well as extra-curricular lessons, activities and performances.  The aim is to encourage musicians of all standards to participate, working towards the elite level.  The range of activities is outlined below.

School Musical
A highlight of each year is the annual musical production.  A tradition dating back to 1963, it is always a challenging, enjoyable and high calibre performance.

There are also Composers and Performers evenings held each year and a multicultural musical evening.
