Congratulations to Jade Pham who has been selected to represent Australia at the inaugural Earth and Environmental Science Olympiad in Brazil in September.
Congratulations also to Joshua Lin who has been invited to represent Australia at the Asian Olympiads held in May this year.

Congratulations to our Volleyball team who won the first round of their knockout tournament against Granville South 3-1. The girls now progress to the next round. Last Friday the girls also played well at Quad Schools winning three of their four tournaments. The volleyball was held here at James Ruse. Mrs McKenzie is their fabulous coach.

Last Thursday Mother’s club held their first meeting and we were privileged to hear Michael Sun and Brook Cao share their tips for having a successful HSC year. I will include their speeches in this newsletter.
Yesterday the SRC ran another successful ASPIRE day for our Year 7 students. This amazing day has been designed and implemented by our SRC students. Year 10 and 9 students lead this event. Through a series of games, activities and reflections students gain insight into the meaning of our school values:
